About Curtis Balkan

Founded in 1989, Curtis Balkan is the European manufacturing facility for Curtis Instruments, Inc., situated in Sofia, Bulgaria. Curtis manages its global manufacturing operations to ensure the dependable delivery of high-quality products to meet customer demands.

To maintain consistency in quality, Curtis standardizes equipment and processes across all its manufacturing locations, including Sofia, Puerto Rico, China, and India. The company's core philosophy is: "We strive to design and manufacture only one level of quality-the highest." Every Curtis employee is dedicated to this standard, applying it consistently in their daily work. Curtis Balkan employs a team-oriented, quality-driven approach throughout the entire process, from initial concept and design to manufacturing and post-sale support.

Our Core Competencies

Curtis Balkan's high-tech factory produces a wide range of EV motor speed controllers for European and worldwide distribution. The team of approximately 160 employees utilizes the 2,000 square meter plant facility to operate at three shifts daily. The high-tech equipment and highly qualified professionals working in Curtis/Balkan is a prerequisite for the top quality products we offer on the world market.
